  • Per state requirements, the current versions of the Texas Real Estate Ethics and Legal Update MCE courses are scheduled to expire on 12/31/13
  • Students must complete these courses by the expiration deadline as they will be deactivated at that time.
  • No extensions will be granted after 12/31/13.

Texas Real Estate Commission Ethics MCE reflects the requirements of the Texas Real Estate Commission and is a required course for all individuals involved in real estate in Texas. This three hour course covers topics such as agency relationships and the canons of professional ethics. Unit exams and interactive exercises test students knowledge and graphics help explain key points.

This course fulfills three (3) hours of the 15 hour MCE recertification requirement.

Important Notice

New "24 hour MCE Rule" -- As of September 1, 2007, a licensee who takes an online MCE course will not be allowed to complete an online course in less than 24 hours. If a licensee has paid their renewal fee and begins an online MCE course for renewal purposes on the day their license expires, credit will not be awarded for completing the course on that day (regardless of how many hours credit the course awards). If this occurs, the licensee's MCE will be considered late and a $200 Late MCE penalty fee will be assessed.
