:: Robert J. Grazioli, SPHR, MHR

Robert J. Grazioli, SPHR, MHR, is the Director of Human Resources with Comal County, New Braunfels, Texas. He has been in that position since 1999. His career spans over 27 years of Personnel in the United States Air Force (USAF) and over 13 years in County government. During his career in the USAF, he worked a myriad of jobs ranging from: Deputy Director of Personnel Programs for over 45,000 military and civilian personnel; Deputy Director of the European Foreign Exchange Program in London, England, working with 13 different foreign countries/Air Forces, and Worldwide Program manager (utilization/employment/relocation) for over 90,000 Air Force Personnel. His cumulative 40 years of HR experience also includes extensive expertise in Quality Management, Strategic Planning, Performance Management. He has also has served as the first President of the Texas Association of County Human Resource Professionals, and is the HRCI Chair for the Texas Hill Country Human Resource Managers Association in San Marcos, Texas.

His current responsibilities at Comal County include overseeing all aspect of Human Resources, Loss Control & Compliance Officer, HIPAA Privacy Officer, and Benefits Administrator. He also has taught the SHRM Learning System (PHR/SPHR Certification Course) at the San Antonio Community College (SACC) since 2002 as an adjunct professor.

Robert has taught course in Performance Management, Organizational Departure, OSHA, Employment Law, and Compensation and Benefits at SACC. Additionally, he has taught the SHRM Essentials of Human Resources at SACC.

Robert received his BS in Business Administration/Psychology from the University College University of Maryland (Europe), and his Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
