Rich Priska, PMP®

Rich Priska, PMP® has over 30 years’ experience in project management, program management, change management, and business process reengineering. He has a proven track record in problem solving, negotiations, team building, communications, facilitation of meetings, and training/mentoring of professional staff. He has created PMO structures, methodologies, and processes and served on various Steering Committees/Governance Councils.

Prior to joining the Professional Development Center at The University of Texas at Austin, Rich provided overall program and project management guidance and support to various energy companies such as Shell, Amoco, Superior Oil, and Louisiana Land & Exploration. At these companies, Rich authored and implemented numerous rules and guidelines relating to project management.

He has extensive experience in the planning and managing of information systems having been a Senior IT Director at Enron Corp and a Senior Business Consultant for EDS.

Rich has taught computer classes at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois and Calumet College in Calumet, Indiana. Closer to home, Rich has mentored computer science students at Stephen F. Austin University and Sam Houston University via lectures and advisory board participation.
