Course Details

Financial planning is a critical part of life planning. People need to to plan for and protect their financial futures. More complex and difficult financial options require sound investment advice and financial guidance. It makes sense to seek qualified financial professionals. It also makes sense for financial professionals to increase their value to clients and employers by achieving CFP® certification.

Since 2003, the Professional Development Center at the University of Texas at Austin Financial Planning Certificate Program has addressed the need for more qualified financial professionals.

The financial planning profession continues to grow and offer many career opportunities.

  • The most recent Jobs Rated Almanac again ranked financial planning as one of the top-rated jobs in America.
  • Studies show that over a three-year period, the average increase in pay in the year following certification is over 57 percent.
