"I will pay more for the ability to deal with people than for any other ability under the sun."  - John D. Rockefeller

Project management is typically thought of as the practice of using specific tools, techniques and methods to manage scope, budget, and schedule for a desired result.

Although this is true of project management, it is also true that the most challenging and potentially damaging issues on projects are typically not related to scope, budget or schedule, but to people and interpersonal relationships.

This is why it is important to project success that project managers understand how to identify the root problem in an interpersonal challenge, and also know how to address the problem effectively.

The Lead the People – Your Project will Follow class will cover the interpersonal skills that help move a team from disconnection, interpersonal misunderstandings, and mistrust to connection, involvement and buy-in so that the project receives the support it needs to reach its target outcome.
