The Leadership Skills for Managers Certificate Program in the Professional Development Center gives managers the keys to becoming great leaders and shows them how to apply newly acquired leadership skills. Upon completing this University of Texas at Austin program, managers will have a better understanding of what it means to be a leader within their organizations:

  • Thinking strategically
  • Developing employees.

Participants choose the specific PDC courses that will help them reach their leadership goals.

Certificate Requirements, Scheduling, and Pricing

To achieve the Leadership Skills for Managers Certificate Program,

  1. Select the leadership and management courses that best match your specific needs, and complete six courses in the leadership skills certificate on your own schedule.
  2. There is not a time limit for completion of the program. Each course is one weekday (8:30a.m.- 4:30 p.m.). Classes are offered several times throughout the year.
