Course Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

Registrant Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

Registration fees for workshops and online courses are non-refundable, you may transfer your registration to another person within your company or you may apply it to another workshop, certificate program, or online course scheduled within the next 12 months. Cohort style certificate programs have a two week cancellation policy and only 75% of the fee is refunded.

Course transfers are not processed automatically. Notification of cancellation or transfer via mail, e-mail, or fax must be received at least three full business days before the start of the workshop, seminar, or online program; or two weeks before the start of a cohort certificate program. Please note that any cancellation will result in an administrative charge. This fee must be paid at the time of the request.

Course Transfer

  1. If you wish to withdraw from a workshop, seminar, or online course:
    • A request must be submitted in writing using the Course Transfer Form. The form may be submitted via e-mail, fax, or mail. The request must be received at least three full business days before the start of a workshop, seminar, certificate program, or online course;
    • In the Course Transfer Form you will be able to request a credit on file, transfer or list a substitute.
    1. No fees assessed for same day substitutions.
    2. Transfer request for workshops, seminars, and online courses is $75.00 per course. (This also applies to same course transfers to a different term or location).
    3. Transfer request for multiple workshops within a Bundle Certificate Program is $150.00.
  2. If you withdraw from a Cohort Style Certificate Program:
    • Two weeks in advance, participants are eligible to receive a 75% refund of the total cost of the program.
    • After the two weeks expire, no tuition credit is issued. You maybe transferred to the following term or request a credit on file. A $150.00 fee must be paid at the time of request.
    1. If a participant attends two meetings or less, no tuition credit is issued but a substitute may be accepted;
    2. If a participant attends three meetings or more, no tuition credit is issued and substitutions will not be accepted.
  3. Participants will be responsible for any difference in tuition cost at the time of the request or in some cases a participant may receive a credit on file. Please contact the coordinator for more information.

PDC Cancellation of Courses and Schedule Changes

The Professional Development Center reserves the right to cancel scheduled workshops due to low enrollment and unforeseen circumstances up to one week in advance of the scheduled workshop, seminar or certificate program. If PDC cancels a course, you will received full reimbursement of the course fee or you may request a tuition transfer to another course within a 12 month period.

Participants will be responsible for any difference in tuition cost at the time of the request or in some cases a participant may receive a credit on file. Please contact the coordinator for more information.

PDC is not responsible for any expenses incurred before the start of a program, e.g., airline tickets, hotel, or car rental. Please check the PDC website and contact the coordinator prior to making any travel arrangements.

PDC reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy with no advance notice.
