We Want You!

We are always accepting new course proposals, as well as suggestions from our audience regarding the courses they’re interested in taking.  If you would be able to teach a course on any of the following topics, please send us your course proposal!  And be sure to spread the word if you know someone who could teach.  We look forward to hearing from you!

We are actively seeking proposals on the following topics:

American Sign Language
Beginning Jewelry Fabrication
Ceramics (instructor must provide space)
Chinese language and culture
Computers (programming, software, networks, basics)
Cooking (instructor must provide space)
Event Planning (could include planning a wedding, event basics, etc)
German Language
Glass Blowing and Glass Fusion (instructor must provide space)
Hiking and Backpacking
Introduction to the Cloud
Jewelry-Making (instructor may need to provide space if special equipment will be used)
Basket Weaving
Roller Skating

Informal Classes does not require its instructors to have teaching degrees or certification. Adults who have skills or knowledge they would like to share are invited to submit a course proposal. If you are interested in submitting a course proposal, you may complete the form found at this link. All proposals are subject to review by the Informal Classes staff. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee that it will be approved.
