This class is for students who have taken Watercolor I or have some experience in watercolor. The class will build on basic skills such as various wash and textural techniques and techniques for painting on a larger scale with big brushes and juicy paints. Students will also learn painting in the negative, which will rearrange your brain and give you more tools for creating your masterpieces. You will be painting from photographs as well as from life.
Skot Campbell has a master’s degree in fine arts from the Art Institute of Chicago and worked as an instructor at the Pratt Arts Center in Seattle.
