Old 6th Street Walking Tour

Come experience the history of Austin’s most famous street! On this tour from Congress to I-35, you’ll venture past historic buildings where statesmen and rustlers once roamed, including highlights such as the Driskill, Littlefield,  Grove Drugs and the O. Henry House, as well as several buildings that housed early minority-owned businesses.  Bring your walking shoes and a camera. We will meet at the Littlefield Building (NOT the Littlefield Mall), located at 6th Street and Congress Avenue. Please note this class requires all participants to complete and sign a University Release and Indemnification Agreement before being considered enrolled in the class.
