Life Drawing

This is a foundation course for students interested in drawing the figure. After a brief review of relevant drawing techniques students will study portrait drawing followed by brief gesture and longer studies working directly with the model.

Free parking is available at Thompson Conference Center, Lot 40 for Informal Classes students attending classes at the UT ART Building.  Please be aware that the walk between Lot 40 and the ART Building is approximately 5-10 minutes.  Parking is on a first come first serve basis.

Requirements: Plan to spend less than $50 on supplies and bring them to the first class.

Plan to spend approximately $20 in modeling fees for the entire session. Money will be collected the first night. The amount will vary according to class size.

18"x 24" newsprint drawing pad.
11"x14" sketch pad.
Kneaded eraser.
Soft vine charcoal.
Ebony pencil or #2 pencil
