Knitting Fun - Three Beginner-Friendly Summer Projects

Knit your share of scarves and wondering what’s next?  Love to knit but summertime is just too hot for your usual projects?  Join us for three fun (and cool) projects that will develop your skills:
•      Make a beaded cuff or choker and learn how to insert beads into any pattern you make

•      Make a fun toy and learn shaping and seaming techniques

•      Make a cotton market bag and learn the basics of lace knitting

Instructor will provide yarn and needles for in-class practice and instructions on how and where to buy the materials for your projects.  Beginners welcome—if you have ever made a scarf, you are ready for this class!

Instructor Bridget Shrum is passionate about knitting for its therapeutic value and the possibilities it offers to create beautiful things by hand. View more information about Bridget on her instructor page.

Requirements: Supplies needed: Instructor will provide fiber for first-class practicing and offer guidelines for students to purchase yarn before next class. Price of yarn will range according to project and yarn selected--approx. $10 to $20.
