Kayaking For Fitness
Easier on the joints than running or aerobics, kayaking is suitable for all fitness levels, ages, and abilities. Learn kayaking strokes, safety techniques, interval training drills, muscle strengthening/toning, warm-ups, flexibility routines, and more. You’re guaranteed spectacular scenery, a great workout and a sport you can enjoy with a group!
Requirements: Please bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock.
Please note this class requires all participants to complete and sign a University Release and Indemnification Agreement before being considered enrolled in the class. The form can be downloaded from our FAQs page. Bring the completed form to the first class meeting.
