Learning for Adults with IDD


Through our partnership with Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, Informal Classes is pleased to offer six classes this fall that focus on learning for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. See below for more information and links to each of the courses.

Learn the essentials of human survival in the outdoors!  Students will be provided with a variety of methods and interactive activities that can be transferred to the wilderness while highlighting the concepts of science needed for a person to survive in a wilderness emergency.
