Learning for Adults with IDD

Through our partnership with Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, Informal Classes is pleased to offer six classes this fall that focus on learning for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. See below for more information and links to each of the courses.

Feldenkrais Method and Chronic Injury

Black and White Darkroom Photography

In this hands-on course, you will use traditional black-and-white film photography and learn how to make beautiful and striking images from their negatives in a darkroom. Class starts September 4th at 6:00 p.m. Click here to register.

Learn to Swim with the Shaw Method

Adult non-swimmers who find it difficult to glide or swim a length of the pool will learn to glide through the water and gain the fundamental skills needed to master a sustainable swimming stroke. Class starts September 6th at 12:00 p.m. Click here to register.
