Exploring Animals through Art

Learn the essential elements of art and how they can be used to create a realistic and convincing animal portrait.  Animal lovers will enjoy this informative class on the basic anatomy and foundations of drawing and painting animals.  You are encouraged to use your own pets as reference and try to capture their uniqueness using watercolor, charcoal, pencil, oil pastels and acrylic paint.  Infused with art history, this class is truly for animal lovers who want to learn more about how animals have been represented in art and for animal portraitists.  Beginners are welcome!
