Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais developed hundreds of Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons. These are precisely structured, gentle explorations involving thinking, sensing, moving, and imagining. People of all ages and abilities may benefit from these novel lessons by focusing on how they organize, sequence, and produce movement. As awareness of habitual movement patterns and rigidities increases, students experience neuromuscular reorganization evidenced by improved sensitivity and efficiency. Requirements: Special clothing: comfortable layered clothing. Supplies needed: Bring a mat, quilt, or blanket to be comfortable lying on the floor. Also bring bath towels and/or small pillows for head support.
