Boxing

A boxing workout is probably the most intense workout of any sport or exercise.  You will be taught basic punching skills that can be developed through practice on speedbags, double-end bags, and punching bags.  You will have a chance to observe both amateur and professional boxers in a working gym.  This class is non-contact.

This course meets at different days and times:

  • Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8:00-9:30 a.m.

Please note this class requires all participants to complete and sign a University Release and Indemnification Agreement before being considered enrolled in the class.  The form can be downloaded by clicking on this link.  Bring the completed form to the first class meeting.

Bring $10 on first day for hand wraps.  Wear loose-fitting clothes.  Bring a large towel to each class.
